Livewire Communications is excited to announce a double-win in this year’s International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Awards. IABC recognizes excellence in strategic communications worldwide, honouring the dedication, innovation and passion of communicators on a global scale.

IABC’s senior evaluators review all entries against program criteria, and their proprietary global seven-point scale of excellence for strategic communication planning and implementation. Award winning work must demonstrate an alignment with business needs, audience characteristics, and strategic objectives. Most importantly, the results must show that the work made a meaningful and measurable difference for their client.

Livewire’s focus on the importance of communicating change as an imperative in today’s business world was recognized with an award in the category of Change Communication. On behalf of a Canadian leading financial institution, Livewire developed a comprehensive role change strategy and communication plan, helping leaders cascade information across multiple channels including video, print, live and online. Content development for meetings and presentations also ensured consistent and effective communication of role changes while building support, clarity and confidence.

Our innovative approach to internal communications research and measurement as a foundation for strategic communication was also recognized, with an award in Communication Research Management. On behalf of a leading global client, we employed a new research methodology, developing employee profiles that transcended traditional demographic and geographic barriers, supporting strategic, purpose-built communications for culture enhancement, retention and recruitment.
